12 Monkeys Tattoos was established in 1999 by its owner and prominent artist Jon Highland in Tracy, California, USA. Though Jon was the only artist to start the tattoo shop, overwhelming response has increased the number of artists to four.

Highlight of the tattoo shop is the safe environment provided to the clients during the first as well as in their fifteenth visit. Clients can choose from the pool of available tattoos or opt to make artist to work on a more personal kind of tattoo that is unique.

12 Monkeys Tattoos conducts arts shows of original art work of their own artist, local artists and artists through out the country. 12 Monkeys Tattoos have been honored by residents of Tracy as they have voted the shop as the best of the best tattoo shop every year since 2004.

Artists in 12 Monkeys Tattoos comprises of Jon Highland, Lefty, Salt Rock and Shawn Edwards are OSHO recognized in Blood Borne Pathogen Training and First Aid.

This tattoo shop has got its own rules to be followed. Shirts, Shoes, Food, Drinks and Children are not allowed. Only cash payments are accepted. They have strict post tattoo regime to be followed.
