Myles Taylor established ‘Tatts Taylor Tattoo’ in Fort Lauderdale, Florida twenty three years back. His name has been a domestic name in Florida from 1970. Determining the number of tattoos he has given on human flesh is not easy as he has done this to generations of families, lot of celebrities, horses and even pet animals. After coming down from Philadelphia, Tatts opened his first shop in Miami.

Finally he settled down in Fort Lauderdale when there was no law for tattooing prevalent that time. Myles Taylor was even arrested for tattooing and later won in the honorable court. This paved the way for many tattoo artists to come and do tattoos for future generations. He always felt that if one gets a tattoo, it has to be the best and that is the kind of reputation he creates.

Myles passed away in May 2000, but his memory and shop is very present even today. It is run by his wife Connie, who has 33 years experience in the field of tattooing. After working with various proclaimed artists, she finally joined Tatts Taylor in 1986 and in 1996, she married him. This last only few years since Tatts died in 4 years.

Be it traditional or oriental or black or grey or any other style of tattooing, Connie always leaves her mark in it. When she is not busy in tattooing, you will always find her cheering her son Cody in Skate Park. She is also secretary of Florida Professional Tattoo Artists.

‘Tattoos by Lou’ was owned by Lou Sciberras who made Miami an outstanding city in tattooing artistry. He started his tattooing at the age of 18 years in Astoria, New York and after sharpening his skills he moved on North Caroline and had his leg firmed up in Miami in 1996. Lou was very focused on his business and opened four shops in Miami area.

Lou Sciberras always considered that traditional tattoo designs contain bold outlines and solid colors. He is an old school tattoo artist in all his ways. Paul Rogers is one of the greatest tattoo artists and Lou forged a very intimate relationship with the legend for 7 to 8 years before he died. Lou was hugely talented and contributed to the Miami City, considered for its excellence in tattooing art. So the Miami tattooing Industry is missing him a hugely today since he has died out of heart attack in August 28, 1996.

So many stalwarts in tattooing have worked under this ambitious Lou and they are Luiz Segatto, Albert Sgambatti, Troy Lane, Ken Cameron and Chris Garver are few to name. Since his departure, these famous tattoo shops are operated by his bellowed daughter Michelle Sciberras Cameron and her husband Ken Cameron, who is the internationally renowned tattoo artist.
