Description of Tattoo Studio:
Ed Hardy’s Tattoo City, which is in San Francisco, United States currently, was established in 1999 on Valentine’s Day weekend, which was his third shop. Tattooing from 1974, he was the trendsetter, then to work only on appointment privately. He truly changed the world of tattooing by emphasizing on large, ornate, custom tattoos adapted for particular need of the customer. He first started a studio at 2906 Mission Street in San Francisco, which was built by him in 1977. He again introduced new style of tattoos featuring fine-line black and grey.
Unfortunately, Ed’s shop opened in 1977 was completely ruined by fire. But as a blessing in disguise, works done were present in San Francisco Film Maker’s movie “Tattoo City” in 1980, which was considered very impressive those days. After the fire menace and the growing popularity of the art, Ed started his second Tattoo City at Columbus Avenue in 1991.
“Way out but classic” is the tagline of set by Ed Hardy who was having forty years of experience in tattoo industry. Along with him there are Douglas Hardy, Mary Joy, Kahlil Rintye and Jen Lee. All these artists carry marvelous freehand drawing capabilities. This tattoo city also specialized in Asian and Western Art work. Ed’s shop is always known for the quality and that is what all the artists are pace-setting.
This Tattoo City is possessing classic hand painted flash sheets by professionals like Sailor Jerry, Owen Jensen and Ed Hardy himself. Other advantage of this shop is a vast library to help designing work and in particular Asian Tradition. They also have collections of famous arts from around the world. Selling clothing that has this studio’s designing on it, painting, prints, posters and books are their other businesses.
Ed Hardy is not tattooing currently. When he starts tattooing again, it will be intimated on the website and to the appointment seekers.
